Indications & Usage

For the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Warnings & Precautions

Long-term use may increase risk of bone fractures, vitamin B12 deficiency, and gastrointestinal infections.

Side Effects

May include headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, and flatulence.

Drug Interactions

May reduce absorption of drugs requiring gastric acidity such as ketoconazole, iron salts, and vitamin B12.
