About This Platform

Our Mission

The U.S. Medication Information platform is a public service dedicated to making official FDA-approved medication information more accessible to patients, caregivers, healthcare students, and professionals. We retrieve, organize, and present medication data from authoritative U.S. government public data sources in a clean, searchable interface.

What We Do

We provide access to medication information that is already publicly available through official government APIs and datasets. Our platform:

  • Aggregates data from multiple authoritative government sources
  • Preserves original source attribution and provenance
  • Provides a modern, accessible search and browsing experience
  • Clearly identifies data sources and retrieval dates
  • Does not alter or interpret medical information

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment recommendations
  • We do not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional
  • We do not generate medical summaries using artificial intelligence
  • We do not claim that adverse event reports prove causation
  • We do not present ourselves as an official government website

Data Accuracy

We retrieve data directly from official U.S. government public APIs and present it as-is. While we take care to preserve data fidelity, we cannot guarantee that the underlying government data is complete, accurate, or current. Users should verify critical medication information directly with the original source or a qualified healthcare professional.

Transparency

Every piece of medication information displayed on this platform includes:

  • The source of the data
  • The date the data was retrieved
  • Links to the original source where possible
  • The source's last update date when available

Funding

This platform is independently operated and is not affiliated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the National Library of Medicine, or any government agency. It is supported as a public information service.
