Indications & Usage

For the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Also used for diabetic nephropathy.

Warnings & Precautions

Monitor renal function and serum potassium regularly. Avoid use during pregnancy. Do not use with aliskiren in diabetic patients.

Side Effects

May include headache, dizziness, fatigue, and hyperkalemia.

Drug Interactions

May interact with potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, and lithium.
