Indications & Usage

As an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Warnings & Precautions

Monitor blood glucose regularly. Risk of hypoglycemia, especially when combined with other antidiabetic agents. Regular monitoring of renal function is recommended.

Side Effects

May include hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal disturbances, weight changes, and headache.

Drug Interactions

May interact with insulin, sulfonylureas, and other antidiabetic medications. Alcohol may increase risk of hypoglycemia.

Store at room temperature in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture.
